Some doctors are cynical of private practice, it is true, especially with the current government bringing NHS doctors into competition with private doctors for their very jobs, in some areas. However, one thing I have always found in NHS doctors is a profound care for their patients. This is the most important thing, and it means you don't have to be worried about going to them for advice about anything. Excellent post!
